Eternal Flame Burns Bright On Election Night

Posted by thelense on Tuesday, November 4, 2008

The FAMU eternal flame is a symbolic representation of the fire and spirit of Florida A&M University. On election day the eternal flame seemed to shine bright with the news that Barack Obama had become the 44th president of the united states. Its as if the eternal flame was not only shining for our beloved FAMU and its contributions to the election but also for new president obama. May he be a light into the world and shines bright throughout the next 8 years!

Posted by thelense on Wednesday, October 22, 2008

Once the rattlers arrived at the capital to early vote the Marching 100 provided some flavor for the occasion. Definitely added to the experience and just made the day even more exciting than it already was! Love my school, my band, and of course this historic election and the fact that I was able to participate.

Fired Up And Ready To Vote!
